The Shopping is Done

James was very surprised to hear it but I am tired of shopping. Jessica and I shopped for hours yesterday, we started about 430 and didn't get home until after 9pm. James got to stay home and watch football in peace. ha! Then we were up and at it again at 8am this morning and we finished up about noon. We chose not to buy anything from the uniform shop, they are too expensive! I was surprised at some of the things on the supply list, like spray cleaner. But whatever, it's all done now. Jessica has her uniforms and supplies even a pink and purple backpack w/ wheels and she is all ready to go to her first day at Kindergarten.

I was truly blessed to find the job that I have. When we found out that Jessica's school does not offer full day Kindergarten to the public and she will have to go a half day in the mornings the whole office went into planning mode, they were more than happy to work everything around for my convenience to make sure I can work and get her to and from school on time. They reminded me that the firm business is important but families are more important. How much luckier can a girl be?

James had an interview at Hertz last Wednesday. They emailed him on Thursday asking for an example of his work. The database he sent them was something that he built for his cousin and aunts company, it looked pretty functional to me... Hertz is a good company to work for and to hear that they are interested in him has made James really excited and I am really excited for him too. I just keep trying to remind him it took forever for me to find the right job and when I did it was just the perfect job... the same will happen for him. Hertz or not, he will find the perfect job if he is just patient.
