The Countdown to Kindergarten Begins

Last Thursday I went to enroll Jessica for school after work. First the secretary asked what our address was and then said that the Kindergarten class is full, they are not accepting any more children and recommended that we go to West Nichols Hills where they have sent the others who tried to enroll after they were full. Well, that was not what I wanted to hear. It took some persistence on my part but I have spoken with many people at the school board and made too many trips up there in person (3 trips) but today I got the answer I wanted. Jessica will be going to school at Nichols Hills Elementary! Woohoo! I am going back to the school to enroll her tomorrow afternoon or Monday morning. We will spend the weekend shopping!! We have school supplies and uniforms to buy. I can't wait to join the PTA and get Jessica enrolled in Daisy's. I can't believe how grown up Jessica has become. So big, so cute, so mature and yet such a little girl.. my baby. Gosh!
