Jessica is 5 years old!!!

Jessica had a good birthday party. Lots of people came.. all family. She got to play with her cousins. It just doesn't get any better than that for her.

I baked Jessica's cakes after I was woken up Saturday night so that they were nice and cool on Sunday. Jessica got to decorate her cake with chocolate icing and homemade sprinkles. I made a pan of dirt. Jessica said - "Looks like cookies!" But Christian was not going to eat dirt. Ha! By the time we got to eat the icing was melted on the cake and the dirt was more like mud. The kids didn't seem to mind at all.

We played with water guns and had water balloon fights and played hot potato with water balloons and bobbed for apples. It was lots of fun!

Jeannie had all of the kids intrigued. She brought a couple of lizards along. They were a big hit with everyone but Jordan. She did not like them at all! Aside from a new interest in make up, it was the first time I've seen her really act like a girl... she squeeled when she saw the lizzards.. haha.

The kids played hard all day and the adults were all good sports when they got shot with the water guns. Some of them even joined in the fun.
