The girls are spending the day with grammie... Thank goodness!! I have needed the break although I haven't really been able to enjoy it because we had some 'stuff' come up that had to be dealt with. I had an interview this morning and I am hoping to hear back this afternoon. It is the job that I want but if it falls through then I do have a back up scheduled to start Monday either way.

On the way to Grammie's house this morning, I talked to Jessica and Jordan about Good Friday and Easter. Telling the story of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection is hard to do in an age appropriate manner but I think I did it well by using smaller words that they, at least Jessica, could understand and relate to. When I was done, Jordan said "OK" as if she had understood everything I said... she's too funny. Jessica actually did seem to get it. I just wanted her to know that there is a real meaning behind Easter, it's not really about the Bunny. Nevertheless, we will be dying, hiding and hunting eggs accompanied by lots of good food.
