We are hoping to get Christian this weekend but the guardian said that James will have to call Rachel to ask. Poop! Maybe she will be in a good mood when he calls. As far as the Wednesday of Spring Break, the guardian told Rachel to call James to set it up. We haven't heard from her. When we agreed to do the GAL instead of see the Judge last week we were told this should be over in a week to a week and a half. The week and a half is up and still no decision, Laurie said that she wants to talk to a few more people, including Christian's teacher. She meets his teacher next Wednesday. She didn't say who else she was meeting with, the only people that I can think of that Buddy and Louise and Rachel could have her meet with to hear anything about us are Brian and Ginger. They've been lying since the beginning of this mess so I don't see that helping much for our side. We went into her office with documented facts about Rachel and the people that she allows in Christian's life (her sister Gina). We proved that Rachel and her sister have a history of documented violence and her sister has a history of being in detox and being sited for public drunkenness, at Rachel's apartment complex before they moved in together and recordings and videos proving her erratic and aggressive behavior. The fact that they have zero evidence other than opinions and statements about any claims they are making should show a lot. Since she feels that she has to investigate further, it seems like she is trying to find a reason to keep Christian with his mother. That may not be true, she may be doing all that she can to have a well documented case to show a judge when she recommends that we get him. It just doesn't feel that way. To me, it seems like an open and shut case and it worries me that she doesn't see it the same way. Laurie said she will not make a recommendation until we see the judge on the 29th of this month. The promise of a quick resolution was the reason that I thought this was a good idea. I am ready for Christian to come home to his Daddy and I am ready for all of us to be able to start our lives together. This has not been the typical honeymoon period. I am ready for happy stuff!!
