Is it Monday?
It's been a very long day. Jordie did not do so well at school with the potty training. She had to change clothes 4 times between 8am and 12pm. She did so great last night and this morning and she's done great since we've been home. She has even started pooping in the potty tonight. That is something she's never done before but she's done it twice tonight. I think the difference is that here she has full access to the potty when she needs it. At school they keep the door to the bathroom shut with a child proof handle so they have to tell the teachers if they want to go; which means the teachers have to pay attention... at home sometimes she says "peepee potty", sometimes she says "potty bad" which means it's an emergency and for poop she's just been saying "eew" and then running.... lol sometimes she just grabs herself and whimpers and I have to remind her, "Go peepee in the potty!" But we haven't had ANY accidents at home today. I think she can do this if they just pay close attention and help her find the words she needs.
Jordie fell on the playground and hit her head on a cement step, gash, blood, ER, 3 hour wait... we came home. Her Dr told me on the phone just to keep it clean, liquid bandage, watch her pupils, wake her every three hours if she sleeps, call an ambulance if she has seizures, take her back to the ER if she won't wake up or vomits otherwise, based on the description of her behavior and the wound she thinks she'll be fine. It's no fun to see your baby bleeding. I wasn't very happy with the fact that this had happened 20 mins before I got to the school to see it myself when I was dropping some things off. I thought I should have gotten a call but then I found out that the teacher who was with her when it happened still had not told anyone, the director, the assistant director or the manager, that is why I hadn't gotten a call, no one knew but that one teacher. Well, that teacher knows my cell phone number now. ;-) I actually was very calm and polite but let her know that I want to know ASAP if my kids get hurt. I do like the teacher in question, she's a very nice lady and she tries very hard with the kids. Lord knows that Jordie can be a challenge and this teacher has worked alot with Jordie and she's always very patient with her. I guess this just proves that Jordie is just about as coordinated as her mommy.

Oh well Mommy, others just don't pay as good attention to our children as we do. I can not imagine having to tend to as many little ones at the same time and those ladies at the day care. However, it is thier job, so they need to get better at it or unlock the door.
Jordan was doing so well when we left the ER, I don't really think she will have any problem with it, unless she busts it open again when she is trying to prove a point to us and falls backward. "Not our Jorda, she wouldn't do that, would she?" {roflol}
Well, I can handle to peepee in the panties, but I sure am happy to hear that she is going to the potty with the other stuff. Man I do hate having to clean a little one up that has dirtied in a pair of panties. Yucky Pooh!!!!
Thanks for letting me go to the ER with you so I could see for myself that Jordan was ok. I guess I am just over protective of everyone.
Love,
Mom
