Getting Christian's Room Ready

Well, I am getting Christian's room all put together today... I know, I can't get rid of the spiderman stuff... but I am adding sports to it.. He has a ton of bike helmets so I am putting them up on one wall... another wall will have football stuff... another wall will have a golf club and the last wall will have tennis rackets. I wanted to do soccer somewhere.... I will see if I can fit it in... I plan to put his tv on a tv stand and his books on the bottom shelf of that under his bed in the fort area with playstation to the side and his two chairs facing the tv to give that space a living room sort of feeling.

Tomorrow while the kids play, I will hang pictures in the girls room and rearrange now that Jess has her daybed back... the problem with the way it is now is the dresser is at the foot of the daybed.. Jordan uses the daybed as a step ladder to the top of the dresser... sigh... that girl is a challenge.

Then Monday, because James chose to pass on the trip to pick out material patterns, I get to pick material and make curtains and get the living room together. We have a table for the kitchen but we don't have chairs to go around it. We should be getting chairs on Sunday..maybe. Once we get them we can finally start eating at the kitchen table like a family.

Finally, our house will look like a home.
