Court in 1 week

We are getting ready to go to court one week from today. The only thing that our lawyers says we need to bring are pictures of both our old and new houses and a calendar showing what days that we have had Christian in the last 90 days. There is a distinct line on the calendar showing a change literally the week that we got married. Until then, we had him about 1/2 of the time, which fits with the joint custody but after the wedding we had him one more time in December, 3 times in January and once so far in February. Pete, our attorney says that basically all we are doing at this court appearance is letting the judge know what the current judgement is and asking him to enforce it. He expects that the judge will set up a structured visitation schedule and set a date for the actual custody hearing. Until today, literally, Rachel had an open warrant for a missed court date for charges of disorderly conduct from August. We were hoping that would be something we could use to our advantage but the fine was paid today and the warrant was dropped. This is both good and bad. It means that we don't have to worry about Christian having to see his mother arrested if she ever gets pulled over or something similar but it removes one of the items that we were hoping to use against her in court, so I have very mixed feelings about it. I only just found out that she has cleared up the warrant and James is at school. I have to tell him about it when he gets out of class. He is going to be disappointed; With his parents backing her, we know it doesn't look good and it was nice to think that we had some extra leverage in our corner. I hate having to give him bad news. This is a no loose situation on Wednesday, even a standard visitation schedule is much more than we see him now but in the future we would like to win full custody.

She still had the problem, your lawyer can still use it against her.
God will get you through this. Christian has to be the winner here.
