Call from the school nurse

I got a call from James at right around 1:oopm this afternoon. I was terrified when I saw who the call was coming from. James is usually a stickler for his break schedule. He had already called me on his first scheduled break and should not have had another for several hours since he is planning to work through lunch today. Turns out that Christian's school nurse called. She didn't have any records of his Hep A 2nd shot. I was able to call Christian's Dr and verify that he received that shot in August and have them fax the nurse a copy of his shot records. I am choosing to see this as a good thing for our case. Since Christian goes to that school based on Rachel's address, she does his enrollment. Looks like she omitted his shot records, vital records I think.

I took the girls to a pet store yesterday. We'd tried to go to this very same pet store about a year ago. The first time, we walked in, Jess saw the mice and I chased her as she ran out. For some reason, she decided that she could handle it. She wanted to go back to the pet store. We walked in and she was brave. She and Jordie got to pet a bunny and see the McCaw's. Jordie was ok with most of it, she was very surprised when the birdies started talking to her. I was holding Jordie when we walked thru, everytime we got close to any of the animals she got really tense but she never got upset. Jessica was disappointed that they didn't have puppies, she ignored the mice but when she saw the lizzards, she was very calm and also very ready to leave. She is already asking to go back.

OK, I better get the dishes done and meat set out to thaw for dinner before I head out to pick up the girls from school.

I have updated the picture page. Take a look.

Well at least since you got this taken care of you know for yourself that it is done. Now, they all know as well, that you and James will take care of things when they need something done.
I took a look at the pictures that you just posted, and I have to say it again, I DO Make BEAUTIFUL Grandchilden. I just love that one of you and James all done up in white. Wow, that is a good picture. I want to get that one printed and framed. The one of all three of the babies at the zoo, on the zoo animal, I want that one to frame, too!....Hint, Hint...lol
