Baby, It's Cold Outside

Hm, Valentines was not exactly as I had pictured but we are moving on. This week has been pretty low key for us. I know that others have had lots going on in thier lives. To those reading this who've had a hard week, you know who you are... I love you and you are in my prayers.

James and I are planning to steal away some time this evening to spend together after the girls have gone to bed, he is renting a movie and we are going to eat popcorn and brownies. Then he will be working on homework and getting a mid-term done so that hopefully, he can get Christian on Sunday and be able to give him his undivided attention. We go to court in just about a week and a half, we are hoping that will translate to a lot more time with Christian, very soon. James works with a woman who has a child in Christian's class; she went to the valentine's party and saw Buddy and Louise there... she did not see the teddy bear that I dropped off for him. So, we don't know if he ever got it.

We are filing our taxes this weekend. Wow, being married puts a big dent in those tax refunds but I am glad we are getting it over with.

Man it's cold outside... Lots of cold and lots of ice... it's not wet ice like sleet but it's not big like hail, it's small like raindrops but it's ice. I stepped out to see what the whether was and my feet are frozen.
