Ah, Sunday

Well, tomorrow is the day.. I'll be 28. Geez, I am old. Tonight we are meeting my parents and my aunt Jana and cousin Sara for dinner at Cimmaron Steakhouse which I love. They have great steaks. I don't like the service when you go in large groups but the steaks make up for it and James and my mom planned this together so I am thankful for that too.

It has been crazy for James at work. He had to work on his Wednesday off and work late on Thursday on top of the regular hour to two hours that they were requiring per day. They announced that they were looking for volunteers to work Sunday and if no one volunteered, it could be required of everyone. In exchange for volunteering for Sunday, they'd get Friday off. So, really the only guarantee of a day off was to volunteer for Sunday. James was up and ready to head out the door this morning at almost 7:30am when his phone rang from his mom's cell. He didn't get to it before it went to voicemail but it was Christian leaving a message. We listened to the message before James left, Christian was telling him that he's at grandma's house, he sounded so cute, we miss him a lot around here. When James left for work instead of being able to go pick up Christian, he looked so sad.

James and I got to spend some time together on Friday, that was very nice. At lunch we went to one of my favorite places and ran into Daddy and a guy that he works with named Robert. That was fun for me. Then we headed to see some of James' family at the Affair of the Hearts. They were busy, we walked around for a bit but the only booth that always seemed busy, was thier booth where they sell magnetized necklaces and bracelets etc. We didn't get to make it to his cousins birthday dinner last night but we are hoping that as soon as her schedule slows down we can all get together and play some card games or catch phrase.

Well, I better finish up and get ready to go see my family for dinner.
