Weekend

Rachel started calling on Thursday. She called James several times while he was at work then left a very rude message for him. He called her back once he got home. She is upset that we had a conference with Christian's teacher. Presumably because she sees the allegations she made in her motion to terminate custody going down the drain. For instance, she said Christian is doing poorly in school because we put him to bed early without doing his homework. We had never seen any homework and we found out at that conference that we were right, he doesn't have homework. She is sending home flash cards which we've never been given. So, I went out and bought flashcards for all of the things she said he needs to work on (letters, numbers etc.) and I even made my own flash cards for his sight words that they don't sell flashcards for, at least nowhere that I can find. His teacher said it's ok to use our own cards as long as we do everything out of order.

She calls and complains that James doesn't see Christian but when he tries she won't let him have him. He said he wanted to pick him up on Friday, she wouldn't tell him where he would be so that he could pick him up because she didn't want him to keep him overnight. Last weekend, we were 15 mins late (because we were moving) so she made plans for the day with him, she was supposed to call when they left incredible pizza so he could pick him up. No call. Then when she called Thursday she was complaining that she hadn't heard from James... She is the one who didn't call the last time she was supposed to. Unlike her, James doesn't call just to fight. He calls when he thinks he has a chance that she'll let him see Christian. I will have Thursday's calls posted for you to hear in a day or two.

James and I are going out tonight. His company is having their holiday party. It seems a little late for a holiday party but it sounds like it is going to be lots of fun. James even let me buy a new shirt for it and he said he'd dress up too. He never dresses up! I am really excited. The girls will be with my parents starting sometime this afternoon and they will be spending the night. Woohoo! We will actually get to sleep in tomorrow. Sleeping in never happens around this house.

Jordan is getting to be a handful for sure. She counted to three on me the other day! Ha! She still likes "No" but her new favorite word seems to be "Now". Every once in awhile I have to remind her who the mom really is.

Both kids ditched their shoes in James' car yesterday. Now he is at work and we won't see him to get their shoes before they go to grammies. Looks like we are hitting Wally world for new shoes this afternoon.

Time to pack the girls a bag for tonight.

Babygirl,
Well, Rachel is just showing just how stupid she is. Anyone with any smarts at all, would realize that they should make it easy on James to see his son, so that she would look good with the judge. She is just cutting her own nose off to spite her own face.
You and James deserve a nice night out with adults and not children. I hope that you have lots of fun.
I know I will, I have the girls. Jordan is signing all over the place. Cookie, more, thank you and please. She is getting so cute. Jessica is helping her with a few of them, but she is doing pretty good on her own.
Yippee...WOW...Jordan is a big girl. She just ran down the hall without her diaper. She wanted a new diaper. I checked the one she just took off and it was dry. I asked her if she needed to potty and she said yes. I opened the bathroom door and she ran straight to the potty and peepeed like a Big Girl. Jessica and I both called her a big girl and clapped for her. She is grinning from ear to ear right now...LOL..She is a cutie.
Love Mom
Well, Praise The Lord, she did it again. Just in a few minutes. Thsi is going pretty good.
xoxo
