3 days!

Last night was a normal night at home. It was nice and I hope to have a lot more of them in the future. The kids were good. Christian was quiet, I got my usual hugs but he wasn't very talkative with anybody. James said when they got home after school that he was so tired he tried to lay down on the porch while James was unloading the car. He took a nap willingly when they got in the house but James also said that he had to wake him up and that may be why he was so quiet, just that he was still tired.

Jordan told James "poopoo" when she wasn't dirty, he got really excited! Now he's got a new project. He wants to get her potty trained. I agree she is mostly ready but with the wedding and holidays and all that Jazz I want to wait until the end of the year, I think it's too much change all at once to try it now. Plus, she hasn't moved up to the 2's class full time yet and the toddler class doesn't work on potty training at school. When we do it, I want it to be a full time across the board no matter where we are kind of thing. I have to say though, I love that he is that involved and so helpful. It's nice to see him working and playing with her, when she does something that he's taught her, he gets this cute goofy look on his face. He's so proud. Ha! He also gets that look when she uses complete sentences. Ha!

James' Uncle Richard called last night. They had a nice chat. We invited him over for dinner Friday night when Bob comes. He also gave James his grandma's new #. He called and chatted with her for a bit too. It's nice to see when the chips are down on one side of the family, the other side is rallying around him to give him the support that he needs. I think his Dad coming to town really is a great thing for James.

I got to open one of my Christmas gifts early. It was a coat with a leopard collar to match the girls. It's too cute. I had looked at it once before, James pays close attention. It was very sweet of him to pick that up for me.

3 Days! I pick up the key to the building tomorrow.
